 One day, while wandering through the picturesque streets of Bologna, I found myself lost among the narrow alleys and ancient shops. 

Drawn by a glittering window display, I stepped into the Bottega d’arte Gamberini. The beauty of the coloured glass captivated me instantly. 

 As I explored the shop, a figure engrossed in a piece of glass caught my attention. It was a glass restorer, immersed in her work with an almost magical precision. Her dedication and skill deeply impressed me. 

I couldn’t help but approach her and offer my compliments. With a welcoming smile, she explained the complexities of glass restoration and shared fascinating stories about the ancient techniques used in the creation of these masterpieces. I discovered she was working on the splendid artefacts of San Petronio. This serendipitous encounter convinced me to film the restoration process to capture the magic and dedication of these artisans. 

 Thanks to the expertise of Bottega d’arte Gamberini, each stage of the work has been a journey through time. From the precious blown glass to the intricate details of the sacred scenes, the master craftsmen have worked with precision and passion, bringing to light the vivid colours and enchanting stories these pieces have preserved for centuries. 🔨🎨 Every fragment has been delicately cleaned, repaired, and reassembled, gleaming under the Bologna sun. ☀️✨ This chance encounter added a personal and profound touch to my experience, making my journey through the preservation of these windows even more special. ✨ Restauro delle Vetrate di San Petronio a Bologna ✨ 

 Un giorno, mentre vagavo per le pittoresche strade di Bologna, mi sono perso tra i vicoli stretti e le antiche botteghe.

 Attratto da una vetrina intrigante, sono entrato nella Bottega d’arte Gamberini. La bellezza dei vetri colorati mi ha rapito immediatamente. Mentre esploravo la bottega, una figura concentrata su un pezzo di vetro attirò la mia attenzione. Era una restauratrice, immersa nel suo lavoro con una precisione quasi magica. La sua dedizione e abilità mi colpirono profondamente. 

Non potei fare a meno di avvicinarmi e complimentarmi con lei. Con un sorriso accogliente, mi spiegò le complessità del restauro del vetro e condivise alcune storie affascinanti sulle antiche tecniche utilizzate nella creazione di questi capolavori. Scoprii che stava lavorando proprio sugli splendidi manufatti di San Petronio. 

Questo incontro casuale mi convinse a filmare il processo per catturare la magia e la dedizione di questi artigiani. Grazie alla maestria della Bottega d’arte Gamberini, ogni fase dei lavori è stata un viaggio nel tempo. Dai preziosi vetri soffiati agli intricati dettagli delle scene sacre, i maestri artigiani hanno operato con precisione e passione, riportando alla luce i colori vividi e le storie incantevoli che queste opere custodiscono da secoli. 

Ogni frammento è stato delicatamente pulito, riparato e rimesso al suo posto, risplendendo sotto la luce del sole bolognese.
